IQI hosts monthly meetings and workshops most months.

Meeting Overview

Monthly meetings are held the first Thursday of the month at
Beth Hillel Congregation Bnai Emunah
3220 Big Tree Lane
Wilmette, IL 60091

No monthly meeting is held November or June.

Meetings begin at 7:30pm. Doors open at 6:45pm. 

Workshop Overview

Workshops are held the Friday and/or Saturday following the monthly meeting.

Workshops begin at 9:00am unless otherwise noted. Supply lists for each workshop along with a brief description of the workshop are available.

Workshop fees are based on the fees charged by the teachers and is determined by a break-even number of 12 students in a workshop.  

Other Events

Fine Art of Fiber
Each year IQI members participate in the Fine Art of Fiber. The Fine Art of Fiber is an annual event sponsored jointly by Illinois Quilters, Inc. the Weavers Guild of the North Shore, and the North Suburban Needle Arts Guild. Held the first weekend of November, FAOF attracted over 7,000 visitors last year. The show includes exhibits, a boutique, lectures, a silent auction to benefit the sponsoring organizations, and a fashion show. Only members of the sponsoring organizations may exhibit at FAOF and we encourage every IQI member to join in the fun as an exhibitor and as a volunteer.

Service Days
Several times a year members meet at Gloria Dei to work on service projects.
